Meet Robert Sanchez

Robert Sanchez

Robert has been birding about six years in the Front Range. He is a Colorado Master Gardener and is studying to be a Colorado Native Plant Master. He gives presentations for Denver Audubon and Douglas County Extension on native plants and birds and how the evolution of plants and insects have benefited birds.

Robert and his wife, Heather, have led several bird hikes in the south metro area. Their favorite areas are in Castlewood Canyon and Douglas County Open Space. All birding trips have integrated the relationship between native plants and insects, and birds.
