Meet Ethan Cleveland
I am a 16 year old homeschooled Colorado native and have been birding the front range and beyond since I was 12. I primarily go birding in my local patch, Cherry Creek SP in Arapahoe County. I chase as many rare birds as I can in Colorado, but especially there. I love county listing and photographing as many birds as possible on all of my birding outings. Warblers, Vireos, and Flycatchers are definitely my favorite, but almost every bird is wonderful. Sorry, Starlings.
I am planning to start out by leading trips to Cherry Creek SP and maybe some of my other favorite patches. I love staying still in quiet places and just listening to the various calls and songs of the birds around me. Birding by ear is a huge part of what I do and I plan to incorporate that into my trips! I am always eager to share my knowledge, but I also love gaining new insight on challenging identifications. When I am not birding, I love playing the piano and board games.
