Meet Lynn Slaga
Like many people, I discovered the amazing world of birding and the birding community during the pandemic. I am totally hooked! I find each season and birding trip is an opportunity to learn and discover. Most of my birding has been on the Front Range and I particularly love the JeffCo Open Space Parks. Ducks are my probably my favorites and I very much enjoy Fall, Winter, and Spring birding.
With the amazing and diverse places in Colorado, I most like combining hiking with birding. Exploring new spots and habitats I find are exciting opportunities for building bird id skills and learning bird song. DFO has been instrumental in my birding journey and am grateful for the opportunity to contribute more to the DFO community.
